Wow… it’s been some time since I’ve been sitting behind the blog steering typing wheel keyboard.

However, I’m not technically new to blogging. In fact, I did some poking around and found that I wrote my first blog post on January 15, 2004. That means I’ve been blogging for over 4 years! It’s just that there was a lot of downtime in the middle there without much productivity. :)

When I first started blogging it was to keep family and friends posted as I was studying abroad in Glasgow, Scotland during college.

I have some new goals for this version of the site.They’re pretty simple. In no particular order:

  • Talk about stuff I think is cool
  • Help people learn about Chris Zach and what makes him tick
  • Meet some nice people with similar interests (aka friendships + networking)
